Perfect fit!
I really like how they fit and purchased at at great price compared to other jeans! Didn’t have to take a cab and spend extra money to find an Alteration shop to have them hemmed either! I will probably buy another pair while they are on sale!

Perfect Fit
I was apprehensive because they were pretty inexpensive but they are made by Lee so I gave them a shot & they’re flexible but sturdy. I’m probably going to buy another pair. They were worth the month I waited for them to be delivered.

Giving a 4 star, BUT . . .
Comparing to my old jeans (Amazon, Nov 2021, 3rd image), exact same brand, style, color and product #s, these new ones (images 1 and 2) look almost as old, even sporting the creases at the top of the thighs like one gets after sitting in trousers. And, specifically, they looked like they’d been worn once or twice, maybe washed and ironed.However, they are marked down 39% and they fit perfectly just as the old ones do. Just to make sure I was comparing apples to apples, I went to look at my order from November 2021. Amazon doesn’t let you do that. (They let you see that you bought the product before, but they only show the current price because you bought the item “twice”. In all probability, they are just marked as 39% off, but probably were last time as well. I can’t know that for sure.)The only functional nissues are1) zipper quality is poorer, the new one is a bit harder to zip–teeth sticking. Note that the zipper ID # is different from the old.2) could just be a fluke–the button hole is slightly too small making it very difficult to button the waist. Easily fixed.Because I have been happy with the old ones, and just wanted a newer more “crisp” pair, I went ahead and gave the 4th star for these.As for the poor ladies who bought the black… I can’t believe what happened to you! That is just horrible and I wonder if the manufacturer put bleach in the washing of them–bleach breaks down material.

Palisade Isn’t Gray
The color “palisade” is not a bluish gray as pictured. It is a very “warm” (i.e. brownish) gray which I would call “heather.” The heather is very pale, not dark. Otherwise, the pants are okay, though I am long-waisted, so the “high rise” wasn’t very high.

Perfect fit
I’m 5’3 about 169lbs. I ordered a size 10. The fit great. Very soft and comfortable. The fit is perfect. Not tight, not loose. I haven’t worn them all day yet but I don’t think they will stretch out.

Just when I was happy being 142 lbs, I gained weight because my esophagus infection e as cleared up!Now I back to fatty jeans. Size 16. 😵😧😵😡Diet change is required to get back to size 14 again.Meanwhile, NEW JEANS!SOFT SUPPORT will allow a greater fit a I slim down with self control when hungry.Simple Mills cookies instead of doughnuts. 🤪🙄🥰

I’m now a Lee Jean fan!
Wow! These jeans fit like a glove and then some! I got the black 10 short and they give an illusion of hips that I don’t have and the length hits right where I want it to on my ankles! I’ll be wearing these jeans in heavy rotation. Funny because I was about to spend $200 for a pair of madewell and Abercrombie and Fitch jeans! I’m definitely getting more colors!

Just Right
Jeans are tricky. My favorite are Auras by Wranger, but they have become hard to find and expensive. These jeans by Lee are just about as good for half the price. They have just enough stretch for a good fit without becoming baggy. They are straight legged, without being “post legged” or too slim at the ankle. They have decent front pockets, not too shallow as to be worthless. The back pockets are deep enough to hold my cell phone. I wear “short” jeans, and these are the perfect length for me – no additional hemming required. Feel good, wear well and you can’t beat the price.

Wonderful fit
Ordered these jeans in black in a size 4 and they fit great. Great quality but not as soft feeling on my skin as I thought they would be.It did take quite a while to get them though and I am not sure why.

They are actually long for us tall ladies
So I was skeptical about the length but they are perfect!! Please remember when looking at my photos that I am not wearing shoes with them yet! They’ll be perfect with my “run around” shoes. They are super comfy and true to size! Super duper happy with my order. Never have I bought Lee jeans and I am a FAN!!

All things considered, nice pair of jeans
These were a bit looser than I expected, having bought this size and brand before, but they are quite wearable – I’d rather have them a tiny bit loose than too tight.Please note that this pair of Lee jeans was manufactured in Mexico and the quality of all the stitching is quite good. The pockets were a bit smaller than they used to be, but workable unless you want to put your phone in your side pocket.As I sadly found out, having purchased another pair (different color) at the same time, some are now being made in Egypt and the quality of those jeans is very poor. The stitching is horrible, and the pockets are a joke: far too tiny for even your car keys if you have an attached fob that opens and locks your doors.

Country Where Manufactured Makes A Difference
I need high rise jeans (12 short). Mid rise jeans makes for a “muffin top”. My weight is 133, about 5′ or 5.1″ tall and carry my weight in the tummy area. I ordered all 6 colors and my assessment is the fit depends on which country the jeans are made in. The big difference I found between the jeans is the gapping in the back waist area. Ellis and Seattle (made in Bangladesh) I needed to return due to large gapping issues. The colors Inspire, Palisade and Heritage (made in Egypt), Black (made in Mexico), these I was able to keep. I hope this assessment helps any women who have gapping issues with jeans. The Try Before You Buy method was a plus.

Perfect for me.
I have a hard time finding pants that fit and look like I like. I’m writing about Lee Women’s Instantly Slims Classic Relaxed Fit Monroe Straight Leg Jean. It’s a lot of words. I THOUGHT I had ordered Lee’s bootcut, which is what I used to wear years ago, for a couple of decades. I only say this because what I got was exactly the shape and feel I wanted.Also interesting, on the same day I ordered these and a pair of yoga/leggings, and followed the (wildly different) size suggestions already populated in the order for by some new AI process. Both fit perfectly.Just sayin.

small size, tall length
I have no idea why manufacturers think that smaller size women are always short. That is not always the case! I am 5’7″ and wear size 2L. Have so much trouble finding pants long enough even though I am not that tall. These jeans fit very well! I have purchased them in 2 colors and will buy again.

Very good Jeans
I have worn Lee Jeans for many years. They are the only Jeans I could find that havre the perfect fit for me. They are well made and never disappoint. I was looking for a pair in Black so looked on the Lee web sight.I ordered them and waited for delivery, it took 1 month for them to be delivered. I went round and round with customer service without any help. In the mean time I looked on Amazon and found the exact same jeans for less than half the price as Lee.com. I ordered from Amazon and received my jeans 2 days later! They were perfect. When I finally received the jeans from Lee I returned them for a refund.Lesson learned.

Palisade color is not gray
These fit quite well, surprisingly, as often Lee jeans fit is not my favorite. The length was also good, as I ordered the long/tall version, and absolutely hate when they are too short.I was disappointed that the color was taupe and not light gray. This happens often when I order online, even with a label of gray…it ends up being taupe. That said, I can use that color in my wardrobe as well and ultimately decided to keep them.

Sizing off.
I’m 5’1″ and weigh 108 lbs. A size 8 short usually fits perfectly. I found these jeans to be rather on the snug side, and the short length nearly 4″ too long.

Sort-of an ok replacement for my KMart Basic Editions womens short jeans
I have been wearing KMart Basic Editions womens short (not petite) jeans forEVER. I liked that they were on the less thick/heavy side and had a stretch without becoming over-stretched. I especially liked that they sat just below the belly button in the front but sat high enough up in the back that they were almost at the waist and didn’t slide down my butt when I knelt or bent over. I found that they wore fairly well and washed well (I’ve worn them to do yard work and gotten them really dirty). I have been every size from 18 down to 6 (and up and down again and again) and still have been able to get my size in SHORT length. I especially liked that I could get them at regular price for under $20, sometimes on sale from $10-13. Unfortunately, they seem to be going the way of the dinosaur and so I’ve been forced to search for a replacement. I have been having a really hard time because I want a thinner material, in SHORT, sitting just at the waist (not mid-rise), straight but not tight, with some stretch, and with good-sized pockets, and a price that is reasonable. I can’t wear Gloria Vanderbilt (they’re just too tightly cut in every size); I find Dickies too “industrial”-looking and the material too heavy; in many store brands the material is too heavy or not stretchy enough and most don’t come in short in a cut I like.Add to all this that I’ve been trying to buy online because I need jeans and the pandemic has resulted in a lot of store closures.I read a lot of reviews for many brands and finally settled on trying Lee.I am currently a size 6 (at the large end of the size range), but depending on cut and stretch could be an 8; short (not petite) length (29 inch inseam). I am 5’2″, 132 lbs (but this fluctuates upward) and carry weight a little bit more at my waist and hips.I was on the fence as to whether to give the Lee jeans 3 or 4 stars, but since I just ordered a second pair I think it’s only fair to give 4 stars. With that said, they are the best replacement that I’ve found so far for my KMart jeans, but they are by no means comparable. Here’s why: 1. The waist band is fairly thick and it bunches at the button when I sit down, sticking me in the belly button and giving me the dreaded sweaty waist. 2. The jeans material itself has some stretch (not so much in the waist) but the material is a heavier weight than the KMart jeans–perhaps more of a mid-weight material. For some this might be a plus but on a hot (80 degree), humid, sunny day, the Lee’s are definitely hard to wear comfortably, whereas I had no issue with my old KMart jeans. 3. Some reviewers commented on the minniscule front pockets and they weren’t kidding. If I still had my old flip phone I would have to turn it sideways to get it in; it won’t fit an iPhone. The front pocket needs a reality check and a redesign. But given my limited jeans options, I put up with it. 4. Others would consider $23 or so reasonably priced, but for jeans that I am going to beat up (gardening, cleaning the house, getting bleach and stains on them, etc.) I really want to have a good chance of paying under $20 and I couldn’t get there (I had to hunt around to find them for $23-ish).Now for the good points: 1. They do not ride down my butt in the back (the way mid-rise jeans with stretch do on me), but instead stay firmly at my waist. This is the first pair of jeans out of the ones bought in my replacement “quest” that stayed put. 2. They have a small amount of stretch but did not stretch out in the washer and dryer (hot and hot settings). 3. They come in SHORT (petite is the wrong cut for me).When the stores reopen I will give up the on-line search in favor of trying on jeans in the stores, but for now these Lees are as close as I can get to my old Basic Editions jeans–sort-of.I hope this review helps anyone else hunting for replacement jeans.

Doesn’t fit like high rise
These definitely run small and I should have read the reviews better before ordering. As warned, I had to return the size 10 for a size 12. They felt true to size when I tried them on but today, after wearing them for several hours, I feel they aren’t as high rise fitting as my last purchase a year ago. They are sitting slightly lower in the back and I keep tugging at them because they are cutting into my side a bit. Disappointing as the same exact pair i bought last year fit really well – as a size 10. Frustrating that they seem to keep changing the fit but still better than others I have tried recently. Oh – and the button hole mentioned in other reviews is dead on. I used small scissors to snip away extra fabric within the button hole so it would move more easily.

Fit perfect
Classic style that look great dressed up or down. Very durable with just enough stretch. I wash in cool water and dry on low heat. Keeps shape and doesn’t wrinkle.

Weird chemical smell
The jeans are great, fit as expected, however they have a terrible chemical smell. I’ve washed them several times, but the smell remains. It definitely makes me not what to wear them. I can’t return since I’ve worn them and washed them, but if I ever get another clothing item with such a strong smell, I’d return vs. trying to wash them to remove the smell.

Lee’s Quality
Good Lee’s quality but with my being 5’1”, 130 lbs. the jeans were a good 3 inches too long. They also fit tighter in the stomach area than most jeans and I don’t have a tummy.
