absolutely super, lightweight workhorse
this laptop is exactly the right size and lightweight. The display is crisp. I wiped it and installed Linux on it and it screams on the amateur radio applications and daily text processing and occasional image processing that I use. I will probably buy another one or two of them.

Battery Life is not as advertised
Well, you get what you pay for. Battery life is nowhere near 10 hours, which is the primary reason I bought this laptop. The 10 hours is only if the computer is just sitting there doing nothing, with no sites open. If you have any website open, regardless of what it is, the battery life is more like 6 to 7 hours. The screen is also very rough on the eyes. This may be due to the resolution being lower than most laptops that you would pay a few hundred more for.

Cheap
I bought this for my son for Christmas…it didn’t last him anymore than 4 months before it stopped working. Buy the warranty!! He was too scared to tell me or I would’ve wrote this sooner as I just found out! What a waste of money!

Does what it’s supposed to
It’s a cheap budget laptop, but it gets the job done. Only thing I will say is that the HDD is ridiculously small. At only 65GB, I could find a flash drive with more capacity. Otherwise, mot a bad laptop if you’re on a budget.

The price somewhat matches the quality
The media could not be loaded.
I use the product for my online business, and for fun, for the price, it can work very well, but if you download anything your browser will not work well everything you get has to be bookmarked on your browser. I am about to buy a new laptop and use this one for fun.

Spend the extra $100 and avoid the headache
Who knew basic classwork was enough to completely max out this computer. CPU is always at 100% use and pages take forever to load. I don’t see any relevant purpose for this computer. Returned it within a week.

This laptop is so slow it shouldn’t be allowed to be sold on Amazon.
I bought this laptop because I was looking for something really cheap for my 4 year old daughter to use in a multimedia program that she is using at school. It is a very simple and basic application that does not demand much from a normal laptop. The problem is that this laptop is slower than the computer I had back in the 90’s. My goodness, even to open Google Chrome takes forever. I’ve had other Lenovo laptops before, but this product is mediocre, not even worth $50. 5-star reviews can really mislead you, and I honestly don’t understand how someone gives this product a star. Bad, very bad.

its alright but would recommend to those who are on a budget
I would recommend to those who are looking for a budget laptop but there are only a few things I don’t like about it 1. When you search something or downloading its kind of slow its not the internet its the laptop itself 2. I would not recommend the 64gb because the storage runs out too quick would recommend the 128gb or higher 3. NOT MADE FOR GAMING so I decided to try to play Fortnite on the laptop and I was getting 1 – 2 FPS I know pretty crappy right? And that’s it I would only recommend to those who are using the laptop for Work, Education, Video Editing, Music Editing and I think there’s more but I cant get it on my mind. And also the funny thing is that I’m righting this review on the laptop itself 🙂

Full sized SD card slot, not a micro SD card.
It’s a low cost budget laptop that works for what I want it for. Normally it would make no difference to me, but I’m this case I wanted a micro SD card slot. I bought a 1TB micro SD (because the description says it has this) to expand the storage capacity. The problem with it having a full sized SD card slot means that the SD card stick out quite a bit and and can be an issue if you plan on doing the same as me.While it’s not a deal breaker, I was really hopping to have a micro SD card that would be fully inserted and protected.

El interior
Respecto al diseño del equipo y su estética es bueno para el precio, en cuanto al interior el sistema se demora y se relentiza, claro no es una eternidad pero para la tecnologia de hoy en dia y para lo que esperas es lento. Lo tengo programado solo para estudiar, usualmente se utiliza el pack de office.

Great for school
I got this laptop for school, and absolutely love it! It’s compatible with google programs (google docs, slides, etc.) and it’s great for school. It charges pretty quickly and the battery life is fairly long. At the moment I have no complaints.

You get what you pay for
I was looking for a cheap laptop do some part time legal transcription work. I own a macbook but most transcription software isn’t compatible with Macs so I needed a Windows based laptop and didn’t want to spend a fortune for something I’d be using just for a side gig. I use a Lenovo laptop in my office and I absolutely love it. So I saw this one, clearly a simple model and decided to go for it.PROS:The screen was impressively nice for the price! It’s clear, it’s anti-glare which I’ve truly come to appreciate over the years.It’s compact and lightweight.It’s cheap.CONS:It’s REALLY slow. It’s slow to start up, it’s slow to load things.But again, I got it for simple use and it certainly served the purpose. It’s cheap and seemingly reliable, just not the quickest machine.

Doesn’t work for videos
I got this mainly for watching TV and videos while in bed. It’s slow, and many streaming sites and services don’t work in the slightest. I’d return it if I could, but I already threw out the box.

Major Hinge Issue
I purchased this laptop in August from Amazon. After initially being very happy with it, it developed a major screen hinge issue around the 7th week. The hinge started making a tearing sound, a crack developed on the bottom front of the screen bezel, and the bezel became detached from the screen itself.I am based in New Zealand. Upon contacting Lenovo, I was automatically transferred to Australia/New Zealand support. After several emails back and forth, I was finally told that because I purchased this from the US, it was not covered by warrantee in my country. They offered to send me a quote for a paid repair. I received this quote yesterday, to find out that the repair would cost as much as I initially paid for the laptop itself.Please note that Lenovo computers purchased from Amazon US are NOT covered by any warranty what-so-ever if they are purchased from outside of North America.Please also note that this hinge issue is very common on the IdeaPad laptops. A search on Google produced 420,000 results. Even people inside the US are reporting issues getting assistance from Lenovo to resolve this issue.I am continuing to use my laptop with an ice-cream container propping up the screen from behind. Having pushed most of the bezel back in, it is mostly usable so long as I never close the lid or take it anywhere (which kind of defeats the purpose of getting a laptop in the first place!).This is a problem that has existed for some time. Until Lenovo takes responsibility for this and makes an honest effort to ‘put it right’ with their customers where they are, I strongly suggest the whole IdeaPad range be completely avoided.

Cheaply Made
I guess getting what you pay for is the best way to describe this laptop. The performance is stanard, I used it for work. But construct the hinges and inner-working of the laptop with glue. And here is were the problems lies. I’ve only had it under 10 months when I heard a pop upon opening the laptop. After that the frame of the screen started to separate from the led screen. After opening so many times it eventually affects the led. There’s no fix to it and Lenovo does not stand by their product. In short, send your money on another product and do research this information and this laptop is out there

A real bargain!
prompt shipping and very easy setup. quality seems outstanding for the price and my needs are very simple for it does everything i want. A little memory would be nice but adequate for the present. Only had it about a week so for the long haul we’ll see. Not a techy but Windows 11 seems OK and a years worth of free Office 365 is a nice bonus.

Black screen upon setup
After initial set up black screen appeared. Tried every troubleshoot I could find. Still did not work. Reported to seller asking them to mail me a return label. Seller told me to go thru Amazon. Amazon told me to go thru seller. Chat bots are a joke on this site. Total waste of my time.

Where is my refund?
I sent it back after one week of having it because it was very slow and nothing worked. I’ve been waiting over two months for my refund and they’ve received it on their end, but I still haven’t gotten my refund. They’ve had the computer back since since the first week of August
